Please note - If you are collecting outside shop opening hours please add our purpose made transport boxes to your basket as hens will be boxed up and placed in the Click & Collect building (3 medium hens can be fitted in one box @ £2.95 each). 
 
Hen Size:  Slightly larger.
 
Colours:  Various shades of gold speckled.  Some have very distinct gold and white stripes and others are a more solid gold colour.
 
Eggs:  Excellent layers of up to 300 eggs per year.
 
Temperament:  Usually very friendly and docile and make great first hens.
 
Very good layers of a pale to mid brown egg - up to 300 eggs per year.
