Why is molasses included?
A very small amount of diluted sugar syrup is included for aroma, taste and to ensure consistency in every scoop.
 
Is this harmful to your horse?
No! The total sugar content in Safe & Sound is only 5%*, making the feed suitable for those prone to laminitis.
 
Is Safe & Sound a complete feed?
Yes! It contains effective levels of Biotin, has added MSM and includes Lami-Free herbs: nettle, rosehip, seaweed and garlic.
 
How long does it last?
12 days – when fed at recommended levels for a 500kg horse, at least 3 days longer than similar competitor products.
 
*sugar intake of 0.15g/kg body weight for a 500kg horse.
 
Feeding guidelines: 
300g/100kg bodyweight
500kg horse = 2 ½ scoops (1.5kg) per day
