Barley Rings - Horse, Rabbit & Guinea Pig Treat

Barley rings make a delicious treat for horses, rabbits and guinea pigs being a healthier snack than shop bought treats.  Originally for horses they are made from cooked barley with added linseed for coat condition.

Although traditionally fed to horses, barley rings can also be given to small pets as an excellent source of copper.  They are great for promoting a healthy skin and coat. Ideal for hand feeding, maintaining weight in older or ill animals and  increasing an underweight rabbit's weight.

Feeding directions: Use only a very small amount of Barley Rings for small pets or just the odd one to be fed on its own, to avoid rapid weight gain.

Please note: The rings have a biscuit texture so may break into pieces during storage and transportation. This does not affect the quality of the product, and is better to feed rabbits smaller pieces.
