A useful addition to any poultry keeper’s first aid kit as an aid in cases of feather pecking. 
 
Stockholm tar is an antibacterial tar that is useful for applying to sore patches on your chickens, for example, where they have lost feathers as a result of feather pecking or a moult, especially if the skin is broken. The antibacterial tar seals the area allowing natural healing to take place and deters further pecking. 
 
Stockholm Tar should be applied to the affected area only, it is best to apply using a small brush. 
 
A little bit goes a long way, if you have less than 6 chickens this tub will last you a very long time, depending on how much you need to use it.
