All chickens are for collection only, we are unable to deliver. Please see information at the bottom of this page for collection information.

This is our last batch of birds until Spring 2025 so please pre-order asap.

For any breeds out of stock, click 'Notify when Available' and we will email you immediately we have any.

Pure Breeds
Generally only the larger pure breed hens can be mixed with hybrids - Please contact us before ordering if you want to mix any of our pure breeds with the hybrids and we can let you know if they are likely to be compatible.
How to Buy Chickens

For In Store:
​
Call in to see us during our shop opening hours to view the birds and purchase. There is no need to book an appointment or pre-order birds (unless you want to guarantee certain breeds).

For 'Click & Collect':
​
1. Select your birds (we sell a minimum of 2 birds).
​
2. Add the appropriate amount of transport boxes to the order. If you are bringing your own box please be aware that you will need to transfer the birds from the crates we will leave them in to your own boxes.
​
3. Ensure you fill out your ideal collection day & time and if you are bringing your own box (MUST be within 7 days or order will be automatically refunded).
​
4. Complete checkout and pay for your birds.
5. Await our email to confirm we can put your birds out at the requested time (please give at least 4 hours notice for collection of live birds).

If you are collecting Wednesday - Saturday please just come at a time to suit you between 10am - 5pm (or 9am - 4pm during winter hours) & come up to the shop to collect your birds.

If coming outside our opening hours, your birds will be boxed and put in a safe place for you to collect at a designated time (we will give you full details when we ring you or email collection confirmation).

If you are a new keeper or would like any advice please put a note on your order asking us to call you and we will ring you and give any help needed over the phone.
